We had a great first experience. I was impressed from the first call, on... The staff here is amazing!!! They are GREAT with the kids and the parents. They explain literally every single step which not only helps alleviate anxiety but also helps the children (and parents) to feel more involved in what's happening. We all know "white coat syndrome" is a thing...I cant imagine feeling triggered here. Seriously...the BEST experience there so far. Then you top it off with their amazing decor and fun zone...oh brother! Way to make a kid WANT to go to the dentist! Great Job Y'all!! And thank you from the bottom of my heart for existing and providing the services with care that you do! Bravo!!! HIGHLY recommend!

Always feel so at home when we visit for a dental appointment! My 12 year old had a routine cleaning today. Everyone is so kind. We are always in and out quickly and very happy. We have been going to this office now for about 23 years! My oldest 2 kids are now adults and my first grandchild is now a patient. Very thankful to have such a wonderful pediatric dental office in our hometown!

Daughter had to have 4 baby teeth pulled to make room for her permanent teeth! The referral process to the orthodontist and back to the regular dentist was smooth. Asked to be put on a cancellation list to accommodate her Spring Break and the made it happen! The process for the day of the extraction went great. The staff was great and my daughter didn’t shed one tear. She even said she still loves the dentist even though he pulled her teeth! Can’t say enough great things about this practice.

My son (3) had a dentist appointment yesterday, and we were struggling considering I had both of my little ones with me, and my oldest is terrified of the dentist. Lots of running away, and tantrums. When I tell you they helped me so much. I almost cried from the amount of support they showed me. The dental assistant sat and helped my baby through his whole visit, and he done SO GOOD once Dr. Kirk came in. She played with him and had patience that I’ve never seen. Dr. Kirk is amazing! So quick and accurate. He makes dental visits easy! The rest of the staff.. the exact same. While I was trying to make a follow up appointment, one of the receptionist took my oldest to play and another helped monitor him while I finished everything up. As a mom, who has her hands full daily, they reassured me that I was doing a good job, and offered so many helping hands. I can’t recommend them enough. 100/10

Never have I ever seen a child more excited to go to the dentist and it seemed like these wonderful people were just as excited to see us there! This was a great experience for me and my son Colson. First thing walking in was the kids entrance and thought if they are this creative with the entrance then what is next! Well I think you guys did an amazing job with the set up for the kids. Has a calming/comfortable feel to it and when dealing with young kids and them being afraid of the dentist, this was very well planned out for the kids. Emily was our hygienist and was a very thorough individual that explained everything in great detail. Plus she was very patient/warming to Colson and could not of asked for a better individual to take care of my son. I just wish you were closer to White Sulphur Springs because my other son would be going here as well. Top notch service and quite frankly blown away by the whole set up. Highly recommend this facility to any new parent that needs dental work done on their little ones. Best Regards

This is the best dentist for children! They have the sweetest assistants and the Dentists are very gentle and make sure you understand everything that's going on or needing done if necessary! My girls teeth are perfect and they always have nice things to say! My youngest was the hardest to take x-rays and allow them in her mouth and would take so long as first but now she gets excited to come to the dentist and loves to hear what a good job she (and her 2 sisters) been doing with brushing and also watching the movies!! I recommend bringing your children hwre over any dentist! Very fun looking place and also have fun things to play on while waiting!

My son is 3 years old and has ASD. All of staff were very kind and extremely patient with him. He loves the play area in the office and told me it was the best day ever when we got in the car. The woman that took us back to our room tried to entertain him multiple ways to keep him calm/happy. I will always bring him back here because we’ve grown to deeply appreciate when we are treated with kindness/patience in public places.

Wonderful dentist! My kids love going here, the dentist and the rest of the staff are so wonderful with children and accommodate them and help ease any fears they have of the dentist. When you first come in the door there is an adult door, along with a child-size door for kids to go through. When waiting in the waiting room, kids are able to play with puzzles on the wall, play on a slide they have built in to the wall, along with other toys. They also have a room where they can play video games, however; they haven't had them available since before COVID. My kids absolutely love all the cool jungle animals that they have all over the office, including a giant elephant statue coming out of the wall in the waiting room. After being called back, the kids get to watch cartoons on a TV that is above the dental chair, and afterwards they reward them with their choice of cool little toy prizes. My kids actually look forward to going to their dental appointments 😊

My experience was good they make sure you understand everything. My daughter loved all the ones who worked on her. I was more scared and nervous for my daughter, but she was like no mom I'm not nervous or scared. It's just all out wonderful place, the most wonderful people you could ever wanna meet. I've been taking my son here for almost 3 years and all I can say about this practice is GREAT. My son always enjoy his visit there as they have different toys and video games in the waiting room and movies on the ceiling facing them while on dental chair. They did so wonderful with our special needs child , they let him touch and explore the sounds of equipment so he would be comfortable with them . They explained everything they would be doing asked us if we had any questions or feedback , made sure we left happy and no concerns unanswered :) Our child loved the jungle themed atmosphere, the movies on the ceilings and especially the treasures at the end of his appointment. The denist and the staff are all so very patient and kind. Our family left feeling safe, happy and with a wider knowledge of dental hygiene .

The environment is VERY open and inviting to children and makes the dentist trip much easier than I expected. My three year old loved his experience from start to finish. He had a great time playing in the waiting room and the decorations throughout the hallways and rooms kept him excited and eager to meet the dentist. Every person there was extremely friendly and communicated excellently with my toddler. They did not make him do anything that he was uncomfortable with but had numerous tricks to help him become more comfortable with things when they were first introduced. My three year old is very curious about what things are and what they do so he loved learning about the tools and allowed them to use most of them. This place really is worth the “hype”. I highly recommend this office to anyone with small children.

Absolutely the best pediatric dentist in all of West Virginia. Dr. Martin was the 9th dentist I called, the others could careless about my dilemma with my 17 month old and him breaking his 2 front teeth on Memorial Day weekend. He went 4 days in pain..as soon as I told them what happened, I was immediately put on hold, when they came back, they had an appointment for us in an hour, went and absolutely loved the office and staff. He even moved more appointments around so my son could come the next day and have his surgery. Absolutely the best dentist and staff. They actually care about kids and not money or what type of insurance you have!!

Gave me referral to have my son checked for more concerns I had for my son. The 2nd routine visit was just as pleasant with his teeth cleaning. We have been going to teays valley pediatric dentistry for 8 years. Thanks to some stubborn baby teeth and beginning ortho treatment, my son had to have 5 extractions today. This was his first experience ever being numb since we have been lucky enough to only go for check ups over the last 8 years. Todays visit required a needle to the roof of his mouth which we can all agree is no fun. Dr. Isble was so kind and patient and explained every thing she was doing to him as she did it. She even wiped away his tears as they started running down his face from the multiple numbing injections. He was most definitely in good hands today.

I took my daughter, Winter to the Teays Valley office today and she saw Dr. Martin. She has autism and she’s non-verbal but they were so great with her and definitely know what they are doing! Love! Love! Love!!!! Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry!!! We arrived for our 8 a.m. appointment and were greeted as old friends. My child has been a patient there for 10 years. We started at TVPD when my child had a traumatic event compromise a tooth. They were wonderful and we've been going twice a year every year since. The hygienists talk to the kids and explain what they are doing. They take their time and take extra time if necessary to keep kids comfortable and work diligently to encourage a positive experience for both the patients and guardians/parents.

I take my daughters to the Huntington office. I have a 2, 4, and almost 6 year old. They will see all of them at the same time, so there is no need for multiple appointments. They are well staffed and things are always timely and moving right along. The entire experience is so exciting and fun for my kiddos from the time we walk in the door until we leave. I love that they are excited for the dentist. Their website is also easy to navigate. I can fill out paperwork, confirm appointments, etc., which saves time at the appointment as well! I have left impressed each time.

First experience here. Even in the midst of COVID-19 it was superb. Very efficient even considering patients waited in their cars. My 3 year old was immediately at ease in the kid friendly office, moreso than anywhere else she’s been! Sarah was a standout as well as both doctors. My child was so happy and giggly the entire time. That speaks volumes for a dental office! Our last dentist was not specifically pediatric so I sought out a pediatric office- I am thrilled with how everything was handled. They have an updated website and easy to use new patient forms too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am thankful for our experiences at Huntington Pediatric Dentistry. Our son had to come in this week for a "walk-in" visit as a result of a fall on a blacktop surface. They were able to get us in last minute and without having to wait, he was getting checked. All of the workers and doctors we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Thankfully there were no serious problems, but it gave me peace of mind having him checked and everyone was very gracious! Oh my gosh! They are just awesome. We've only been there once so far as we are new to the area. My granddaughter is 6, has autism, and is nonverbal. A cap had come out and needed to be replaced. She had a little while to become familiar with the wonderful waiting room set up just for kids. It really is amazing. Everyone involved took their time to get to know her and make her feel comfortable and relieve any anxiety prior to treating her. Even though she became a little anxious, she did great. She's been to some good dental offices but Teays Valley cannot be beat!!!

Who likes going to the dentist? My son, apparently--at least to this one! From the moment my three-year-old spotted the giant elephant and snake scene in front of the dentist's office, he was hooked. He loved exploring the safari-themed nooks and spotting the animals throughout the building. Our dental hygienist, Sara, talked to my son about PJ Masks and somehow got him to sit still in the chair while she cleaned his teeth. Dr. Martin also engaged him, making him laugh as he counted teeth. I was interested in getting a second opinion after a previous dentist told us that we were going to need to schedule our toddler for cavity fillings (under general anesthesia!) within the year. Dr. Martin assured us that the spots would be fine in his baby teeth as long as we kept on top of flossing. I was relieved to hear this more conservative approach. When we were finished, Sara chose a toy for my son in his favorite color and gave him a PJ Masks toothbrush. My son clutched these items all the way home (he was so proud of himself) and even wanted to nap with them! Thank you, Dr. Martin, Sara, and Huntington Pediatric Dentistry, for making our visit not only pleasant but fun!

Absolutely fantastic! The entire staff is so wonderful with kids. I have two young kids and the older one (5) is now becoming a pro and has come to feel right at home and completely gets along with and trusts the staff. My younger (3), is more of a newbie and they have to be more patient with her. I cannot be more pleased with how they handle the different needs and personalities of my kids, all while making us all feel comfortable and happy. Any dentist that can get my kids to be so comfortable (or to be so patient with the younger ones who haven’t become comfortable, yet) is definitely a win in my book.

This is the only pediatric dentist we have ever taken our children to, and they are always wonderful, but I have to comment on our most recent experience during covid! They all did an excellent job coming to the vehicle (or calling when you arrive, if you pre-register online), temps were checked, and waiting room was bypassed. We felt completely safe coming in for their cleaning! And my 3 year old boy still isn’t super comfortable at the dentist, and somehow they always get him to open his mouth and get a great look at his teeth! So impressed!

My 4 year old was so nervous about going to the dentist. He had little tears in his eyes and he was so scared of “the tooth doctor”. I got online and showed him pictures of the office. It is so awesome and full of bright, colorful, jungle type decor! There’s a slide in the lobby and different video games. He was really excited to go after seeing the pictures, still very nervous, but less so than before. We got there and he got to play for a little bit, maybe 10-15 minutes. They called his name and we went back and the dental assistant was amazing! So friendly and nice to my son. She wanted to take X-rays of his teeth, so she showed him everything, explained what it was, and what she was going to do. He happily did it and we went on to the chair. Then, she continued explaining what the tools were (with very cute names by the way) and what they did. She let him turn the suction on and off because he was very curious, and she was just so patient and kind with him! The dentist was very kind as well and spoke directly to my son, which I thought was awesome, because not all doctors/dentists will speak directly to the children. They just speak to me, so I was really happy when he talked to him and asked him questions and just bring really friendly overall. I absolutely love the staff here and how cool their office was. My son loves the dentist now and can’t wait for his next appointment! You couldn’t ask for a better dentist! I recommend 10/10.

Absolutely amazing staff. Hands down the best in the area. My 2 and 4 year old love going to the dentist. I was scared to death when my 4 year old had to go under light sedation to have fillings but she did amazing and not one tear shed. She had to go back by herself but the staff checked up on her for me which put me at ease as I was waiting in the waiting room. Layne has gone to this dentist since he was 3. It’s has always been a positive experience. The atmosphere is very kid friendly. Decorated in a safari theme with interactive games, a slide, and a game room with Xbox games kids can play. (If they are in working order I can hardly get my kid to leave.). I t is important to us for Layne to have a positive experience as a child so he will continue taking care of his teeth throughout his life. The staff is always friendly and the children can watch TV while having their teeth cleaned. 👏👍

I took my 2 year old daughter for her first dental visit today! Brittany was our dental assistant and Dr. Kirk was our dentist. They were both wonderful, so personable and friendly and of course great with my daughter who was acting bashful! The office itself is amazing too, so welcoming for children. There’s tons of things in the waiting room to keep kids occupied but we had barely sat down before we were called back. Even though it’s a kids waiting room it feels like it is pretty clean too. I am so happy that we will be getting her dental care at such a kid-friendly place with such wonderful people!

The Huntington office is always very clean and child-friendly, the staff is so accommodating and nice. We've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes in the waiting room, my son's dental assistant Sarah, is the greatest!!! We've had her before and others in the past, and even though EVERY dental assistant there is extremely pleasant - Sarah is just amazing! The dentists are very friendly, knowledgeable, and comforting. Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry (aka Wild About Smiles) Kinetic Park location in Huntington, WV is by far the best choice when it comes to pediatric dentistry providers in southern West Virginia! I have nothing but great things to say about the dental hygiene techs. Sara was amazing with my little 3yr old who was there for a dental follow-up. Dr. Kirk is friendly, personable, and open to answering any questions. The atmosphere is very family friendly and offers children the comfort level to play while waiting for their appointment. Where do I start? One heck of a fantastic experience. From front to back everyone had HUGE smiles! The office itself is the most adorable set up I have ever seen. Very clean, child proof, and fun! Whoever designed this office is a genius. Dr. Martin is just to cool of a guy, his assistant educated us to every detail possible. She let me ask my embarrassing "mom" questions without any judgement. She shared her "mom" experience with me and that made me feel so much better. They gave my son a toothbrush, toothpaste, a toothbrush cover, and a TOY once he was done. I just can't get over how wonderful everyone was. Lots of staff, lots of smiling. My daughter had a genetic issue that caused a couple of permanent upper teeth from coming in. Orthodontic work was performed by Dr Holmes office and today Dr. Martin performed a build up of her upper teeth that put some finishing touches on her beautiful smile. I cannot thank Dr. Martin enough for the dental work he performed today on Reese. Her teeth look amazing! 100% exceeded my expectations! My 3yr old really enjoys going to the dentist. (Unlike me) but the people here are fantastic! Kelsey was the one who cleaned his teeth and she was amazing with him. She interacted and made it fun for Greyson. I’m sitting on the side chair opening my mouth and smiling along with them. I think because of the way they interact with the children and letting them help as well makes a huge difference in the kids cleaning experience. Greyson loved “shopping” for a toy afterwards. This place also has a nice waiting room with a slide and several fun things for the kids to play with while they wait. I do think the waiting room helps boost their experience to the point that they like going to the dentist. My son hates going to the doctor..... lol The dentist was pretty cool too.

I cannot say enough good things about Teays Valley dentistry team. From the receptionist to the dentist, it is the most child friendly place ever and has a group of people who genuinely care about your child and takes the proper time needed to work with your child, make them comfortable, and answer all your questions. My 4 year old loves the play area in the waiting room and she is put at ease the minute we walk in the door. Our dentist, Dr. Martin, is phenomenal! We drive nearly 3 hours for appointments and it is well worth the drive to have a good experience and quality care! This place is number 1 in my book!!!-

My daughter, Ryleigh, absolutely loves going to get her teeth cleaned. We started taking her to Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry at about the age of 3. As soon as we walk through the doors (I say “doors” because I walk through the main and my daughter walks through the little kid door) we immediately feel at ease. The staff remembers us and is so very kind. The waiting room is AMAZING and has something for every kid. Our techs and dentist are so personable and my daughter is distracted by watching a show of her choice on the TV mounted on the ceiling. I now have a newborn who I can’t wait to take there as well! Definitely recommend!

Not only is the office environment fun and cool (I wish ALL doc office's were this fun!), but their staff is amazing!! They make it a fun experience for the kids rather than so stoic/sterile/scary. Also, from a parents POV - the fact that I can fill out/update my kids paperwork on a computer vs. all the paper forms on a clipbaord - WONDERFUL!!

We love the DDS here, they're always great with our daughter, unfortunately the appointments take forever to make. I called to reschedule an appointment, because my daughters tooth is hurting, but the appointment made 4 months ago wasn't going to work, and unfortunately the soonest they can get her in is JUNE. That doesn't exactly help when her tooth is hurting NOW. hard to explain to a 5yr old that all you can do is put orajel on her tooth :( So I guess if you have the time to wait for an appointment they're really great. if not, then not so much.

My kids and I absolutely love this place and the staff is amazing!!!! They truly take the time to answer any questions or concerns you may have! We have been going there for the past 5 years! A few years ago my daughter was jumping on the bed and had a dental issue from falling. This was a late Saturday night, I called the on call line and within 5 minutes DR. Martin called me back and had me send a picture of it. He got me in first thing that Monday morning and fixed it! I would not take my kids anywhere else but here! Truly an amazing place!

I can't not wait until my littles is old enough to go to the dentist because this is where she will go! Dr. Martin is hands down amazing and has been for as long as I can remember. I went to Dr Martin 19 years ago as a child- & I'll never forget he came in on a day he doesnt typically work because my brother and I collided and my front teeth were hanging by strings. He silver capped those 2 front teeth right up and made me as good as new. He has always had the friendliest staff and the most kid friendly office ever!

I took my 7 year old daughter today for a cleaning and annual check up! I’m the past my daughter was super nervous and would throw a fit and had some trouble getting successful X-rays and such. We noticed a familiar face that works there, Nicole, who cleans her teeth every time we come there for a check up. I couldn’t be more thankful for her and all that she does to make sure she is comfortable. She explains every step and shows her how everything is done to eliminate any nervousness. The Dentist, I believe Dr. Martin, came and did a final check and he was so bubbly and made her laugh. I couldn’t be more thankful for the staff there for being so friendly and patient with every kid that comes through the doors.

I bought my 2 1/2 year old son in for his visit with the dentist. The hygienist was wonderful with him. She showed him each tool before using it and talked him through each step. He did so wonderful. They was able to brush, floss and take X-rays. They made him so comfortable with everything. He normally have meltdowns but today was a day without tears, no screaming or refusing just opening his mouth and playing with the tools. I didn’t even have to hold him and he told me to go. The dentist was wonderful with him and very patient. Office staff is always very friendly. We love it there. Thank you staff for making the dentist pleasurable and not a fight.

I took my 2 1/2 year old daughter to her first dentist appointment and I know how she is. Shes scared of everything when it comes to doctors, I knew she wouldn't let them really look in her mouth without putting up a fight. As she was putting up a fight the doctor and staff were very patient and worked really well with her. She went in for surgery this morning to have her teeth fixed, the doctor was very informative of everything going on and was pretty quick with the procedure! I'm very pleased with this office! My oldest son had a terrible first experience with a different doctor and they were completely rude, I wished I would've taken him here first! They are absolutely awesome!!!

I brought my 6 year old in the other day to have a tooth pulled. He was a nervous wreck prior to the visit. Once we got into the office he was distracted by all the kid friendly gadgets they had! From start to finish the entire staff kept both of my children at ease. Dr. Patrick was absolutely amazing! He talked with my son about his hobbies (which we included in the new patient forms) during the entire procedure. My son didn't even realize what was going on. He had no clue the tooth had been pulled until after everything was over and done. My 3 year old also was seen the same day for a cleaning. The staff was equally as wonderful with her! I am absolutely blown away at the care we received. I couldn't be any happier than I am and will recommend anyone with a little to check this place out :D

I brought my son who’s almost 7 for his first visit today. He’s been to another dentist for the last few years, so we didn’t know what to expect. The questionnaire I filled out prior to his visit asked me questions about his interests, favorite movies, toys, etc. I thought it was kind of odd but just thought they were being thorough. When we got called back, we were first put in a conference type room. The dentist came in before any work being done, talked to him about his prior times at the dentist, and then talked about all those interests & favorites I put on those forms and had a genuine conversation with my son. The hygienist was extremely nice as well. They all made him feel so comfortable, and were all incredibly nice. We loved it!

No better dentists in or around this area! I had taken my child to several others previously, all of whom told me that she would need extractions. After taking her to this dentist, a plan was made to treat her affected teeth and save them. She gets so excited to go to her dentist now. The entire staff is amazing. I travel a little over an hour to get to this office, and the travel is always more than worth it.

This place is very kid friendly. My daughter was scared this 1st time we went due to a bad experience at a different dentist office. They were very patient with. This time she had some dental work done and she did very well. She ended up having an allergic reaction and i am very impressed cause the staff has called me twice today to check on her and to see if she is doing ok. They also made sure to tell me if i needed anything to call them. I dont even know of a drs office that calls you the next day to see how the child is doing after they have been there.

I have a 6 year old who has been a patient, but I just took my 20 month old daughter to her 1st dentist appointment yesterday, and I thought it would be a struggle to get her to do anything! But the staff and dentist was wonderful, AS USUAL! Her experience was amazing! She didn't want to leave! She loves to brush her teeth anyways but most kids don't like the thought of going to a dentist or a doctor and I have to say that this office and staff is simply the best there is! Frankie has been with your office since my daughter had her very first appointment back in 2008. She was there today as well when I made my sons first appointment. My daughter says Frankie is her favorite! Plus she is always very helpful, especially today when she was scheduling.. This is a review for the Huntington location. I was so impressed with the fun and clean facility! My three-year-old truly loved his first visit with the sweet and patient staff. I was shocked that he allowed them to poke around in his mouth, but they are great with kids! Dr. Kirk was very nice and professional and helped us understand some next steps to take with a tooth that may have been injured during a fall. I'm excited to let me son come here now through his teen years! Excellent place, highly recommended!

My son whom is 10 and has autism and epilepsy has never allowed his teeth to be cleaned the proper way. However he had a wonderful hygienist who was very patient and kind with him and she was able to clean and floss his teeth. She was even able to capture bite wing and a panorama X-ray which is also a first for him. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and patience with my son. She’s definitely one of a kind. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for everything.

My daughter Dani started there last year when she had trouble with her baby teeth not falling out. Lots of things have changed. Dr. Martin started with pulling teeth because of over crowding and she started up stairs seeing Dr. Holmes. It is wonderful to have such a caring staff that makes my daughter comfortable going and she looks forward to her visits. She didn't even mind knowing that they were going to pull teeth out. Oh where to begin?! My children have seen all 3 drs (Kirk, Martin and Bailey) all 3 have done surgical procedures on my two youngest more than 1 times. All three men have ALWAYS answered my questions, made me feel comfortable about what they were doing and more importantly they understood my sons behavior due to sensory issues. Staff and nurses are just as wonderful, but I do have a favorite and she is why I look forward to office visits! Hands down Frankie, she always answers questions , schedules my kids together( which I’m sure the other lady does too) but she, Frankie is the highlight of our 1.5hr drive every single time. She always remembers faces, makes my kids laugh, and explains everything I always would forget to ask the dr ❤️ If I could rate just one staff besides the drs and nurses.. Frankie would be my pick! She is theeee BEST ! She is a 10 point star to myself and kids! My youngest was originally scheduled for a December 2017 surgical procedure and Ms. Frankie seen the tears in my eyes praying for a sooner date. She promised me that if there was any cancellations I would be the first she called. Not sure if I was the first to be called but bless her heart she did! She is the reason my baby is now pain free and the reason I have my sanity back! She kept her promises and how she cared not only bout my children but she cared about MY feelings and that was an amazing feeling! I can’t thank her enough.. I've taken my oldest daughter to Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry for 6 years and had no hesitations when my younger daughter was old enough to see a dentist. The office staff is very friendly. The hygienists are all very good, especially with the little ones. My little one was taken to a private room because she was anxious in the big room, which allowed her to settle down enough for Dr. Kirk to examine her teeth. He was wonderful with her and the overall experience was excellent!

If you have children this is the place to take them to have their teeth worked on. From the time you pull in the parking lot it is kid friendly. Inside has TV Game Center it's crazy to think it's a dentist office. Staff is friendly and helpful. My children see Dr. Bailey and his assistants Jamie and Brittany and they are the greatest. Both assistants and Dr. Bailey are very thorough on what is going to happen threw out the appointment. They also call to check in later that day to make sure your child is doing good. Overall I give them 5 stars and wouldn't go any where else with my children.

My family LOVES hpd!! We have been going for several years and I couldn't be more impressed and satisfed. Today, I goofed and showed up for an appointment that wasn't scheduled for another week. Tracy the receptionist immediately made me feel better (and not like such a crazy lady). She then asked the staff to fit us in today even though we weren't scheduled!! Without hesitation, they took us. Courtney the hygenist got us back there and all comfortable. She was great with my son. What could be a nerve wracking experience was made fun. If we could give more than 5 stars we definitely would. We absolutely love Teays Valley Pediatic Dentistry!! The first time my son went to the dentist, he had a trauma to his tooth. He saw Dr. Kirk the first time he went and my son loved him. He was great with my son. The past couple years we have seen Dr. Martin and my son loves him too. He likes it that Dr. Martin makes him laugh and makes him feel comfortable. Our dental hygienist is Kara. Our son was a little scared the first time he was getting his teeth cleaned, but she made it enjoyable. She let him know everything she was going to do, showed him the tools she was going to use, and let him ask any questions or tell her any story that he wanted to. We are very very thankful for our wonderful dentist office and all its employees! Thanks for everything!!

As a Mom and former Dental Assistant, I am over-the-moon about Huntington Pediatric Dentistry! From start to finish, they treat my child in a caring manner. Our most recent visit was with Katrina, and she is a fabulous Hygienist. She took her time, spoke calmly, and educated throughout the cleaning. Dr. Martin is so kind and funny, and he put us at ease in anticipation for braces. We've also seen Dr. Bailey, and he is terrific, too. The ladies in the front office are professional, thorough, and always have a smile for us. I would not go anywhere else for my children's dental care! Tracey was so friendly at the registration desk. She even called the day before to get new insurance information so it would be updated in the computer before my visit. My kids loved Olivia and Debbie. They talked to my kids to make them feel comfortable- everything from school, summer vacations, and favorite restaurants. My kids enjoyed their "report cards" that were given. I literally cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about them!! First off one off, one of my son's has Autism & Kelsey Absolutely works so hard and patient with him! She literally will take however long it takes until he's comfortable with her and the tools!! We've only seen Dr. Bailey and he is the best sweetest man ever. He is wonderful with kids! He really makes sure he goes over every concern I had. With my son, with Autism he took his time he talks to him, he's patient. My son need to have some dental surgery and Dr. Bailey did that and he was wonderful, he checked on him before and even 2 times after the procedure!! I've met Dr. Patrick which I'm sure is something different but he told the kids to call him that because they like spongebob 😄 He truly cares about the patients, he wanted engaged with the kids. I'm am so so glad I switched to these wonderful people!! They truly care for their patients!! The girls upfront were very nice helpful with checking in- I love that you can do the computer checkin (LESS PAPAER WORK!!) We love the kid friendly environment with all they can play with for all ages like I said I have 4 from 3-10 years old. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

This is definitely the most kid friendly dentist I have ever taken my son too! They are always on time and always willing to answer any questions the parents have. They work with children to over come the fear of being seen by the dentist. They are so friendly and patient with children. I love taking my kids to the Huntington location! We used to be with Dr Quillin until he retired, I was so worried about changing dentists, didn't know what really to expect. From the first day we walked in there (we have now been with you all several years) everyone has been super nice! Love how the have it set up, KID FRIENDLY! My daughter was so terrified of the dentist after 3 failed attempts with a former dentist. She would get so worked up she would literally throw up. It was just not a good experience any of the 3 times there. We came here to Teays Valley Pediatric and explained how things did NOT go well at our previous dentist. From the time you walk through the, "Big" door for adults, or the "secret" door for the kiddos, one is transformed to a fun, colorful, inviting, jungle themed world. The staff greets you immediately with a friendly smile, and are very courteous and helpful with check in. While your waiting to be seen, which is a minimal wait time, toddlers to teens don't notice because they're too busy playing the game of the month, sliding down the slide, playing on the multiple video game consoles, or air hockey! The kids are called back by a staff member ,who makes them feel comfortable and secure. Whether the youngsters are getting they're teeth cleaned or having a procedure done, they get to pick out and watch their favorite TV show playing on the TV mounted to the ceiling so when they are laying back in the dental chair, they're distracted while the hygentist and Dentist work away. Afterward, the parents are called back to recap the childs visit, and the kids get to pick out a cool toy before leaving! Check out is as easy as check in! This place is definitely Kid tested-Mother approved! I recommend it to all my friends and family!

My daughter just received her final check-up today and now she has to move on to a regular dentist since she is now 18. On 2 different occasions Dr,.Martin has came to the office after hours to fix my son's front tooth, the 1st was when he broke his front tooth going up stairs and then the 2nd he came in during the Christmas holidays when the office was closed to fixed it again when my son decided to eat a sugar daddy and pulled the cap off. I am sad that my kids has to move on ( they call it graduating) but they made my kids experience of going to the dentist wonderful. We are going to miss the whole crew. Everything was fantastic from the time we walked thru the door till the moment we left. I believe all pediatric establishments could learn from the way this group operates. My son got quite a bit of dental work done all at one time and never felt scared or nervous. I have been taking my children to Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry for a couple years now. Getting them to go to the dentist was always very difficult until our first visit there. From the time you walk in and register at the front desk, until your leave, each and every staff member is very nice and considerate. They make the visit an experience the child looks forward to instead of dreading when they have to go. My son is soon to be 21. I have been taking him and his sisters here since he was little. We drive almost an hour to get here but it's so worth the drive! In all these years and bringing 3 kids and I can honestly say I have no complaints! The staff is awesome!

Perfect place for your precious babies to go for all their dentistry needs! This office is about an hour & 15-20 minutes from our home, but I loved it so much , that I definitely won't mind making the drive anytime my kids need even a simple cleaning! Our first experience here was a few years back. Our daughter had fallen hard on her 2 top front teeth and shoved them back into her mouth. Her dentist at the time would not see her because it was a weekend when the accident occured. She was in tremendous pain and my wife and I were very concerned; it looked really bad. Someone had mentioned to us once that Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry was a good place to go so we called and spoke with their answering service. We told them it was an emergency and they contaced Dr. Martin who met us at the office within a couple hours of our initial call. We had no previous relationship with him yet he was kind enough to see us on his day off when our own dentist would not. We have been nothing but pleased with the entire staff ever since. We moved both our children to this office and they absolutely love it! I cannot say enough good things about this place. The even had a recent customer appreciation celebration with a free water slide, food, drinks, face painting and inflatables. Love, love, love, Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry!

I can't say enough great things about about our first experience! From the stunning, kid-friendly decor to the waiting room complete with video games, a slide, and even a hidden passage-way, this place is top-notch. The super-friendly office staff and hygienists immediately put my daughter at ease, and Dr. Kirk's laid-back, inviting personality was the icing on the cake. My daughter's first 2 experiences at another local dentist were less than satisfactory, and I have reached the realization that just because a dentist may accept children as patients doesn't qualify them as a "kids dentist". I highly recommend Huntington Pediatric Dentistry.

I have 2 boys ages 5 and 2. They LOVE coming here to the dentist. The games in the waiting room are a huge hit and they can't get enough of the slide. But it doesn't stop there!! The dentists are wonderful and amazing with my little guys! We always have fun and the only tears they have is when I tell them it's time to go!! :) I am so thankful!
