Teays Valley and Huntington Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Patrick Martin

Dr. Patrick Martin received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University and there he also completed a 2 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He earned his Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Martin became Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry by fulfilling the requirements from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Patrick Martin specializes in the treatment of children as young as 1 year of age. He is licensed to perform in-office conscious sedations and holds a West Virginia Class 3A Sedation Permit. Dr. Martin has hospital privileges at CAMC Hospital in Teays Valley where he has been providing dental treatment for children utilizing General Anesthesia in the Outpatient Hospital Setting since 1998.

Dr. Nathan Kirk, II

Dr. Nathan Kirk, II is from Ashland, KY where he attended Ashland High School. After graduation he attended Spalding University, in Louisville KY on a 4 year basketball scholarship. He graduated with a B.A. in Biology and was then accepted into the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Kirk graduated in 2001 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After dental school he was admitted into the Indiana University Pediatric Dental Residency program at Riley Children’s Hospital where he earned his Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Kirk then moved to WV and was an associate at a Long standing practice in Charleston. After his 18 month contract he then joined Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry as an associate in the winter of 2005 and then became a full partner a few years later.

Dr. Kirk holds a license to practice Pediatric Dentistry in WV, he also holds a WV 3A Sedation Permit which allows him to perform in office conscious sedations. Dr. Kirk has had privileges at CAMC Women's and Children Hospital in the department of surgery since 2003 and utilizes their outpatient General Anesthesia surgical services for children needing unconscious treatment to meet their needs.

Dr. Kirk was married to Emily in the spring of 2001. Together they have two wonderful children. Their son Nathan III, born in 2005, is attending The University of KY and studying Engineering. Their daughter Kennedy, born 2006, attends Hurricane High School and is a member of the Dance team. As a family they enjoy traveling, boating, and attending sporting events.

Dr. Eric Bailey

Dr. Eric Bailey graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry program in 2009 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. With his compassion for caring for children, he went on to a 2 year Specialty Education degree earning his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 2011. Dr. Bailey became a Board Certified member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry shortly after completion of his program.

Dr. Eric Bailey specializes in helping young children establish a dental home starting near the age of 1. He provides all encompassing care for children which includes treatment in office utilizing various techniques and holds licensure to perform sedation procedures on children who may be apprehensive or have a large amount of work where it would make it difficult and unpleasant to complete in office. He strives to provide a high level of care and includes having hospital privileges at Cabell Huntington Hospital as well as CAMC Teays Valley where care can be administered in the highest level of setting providing dental care for those who need the services of General Anesthesia in the Outpatient Hospital setting.

Dr. Amy Isble

Dr. Amy Isble was born and raised in St. Albans, WV. After graduating high school as valedictorian, she moved to Huntington, WV to attend Marshall University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2008. She then moved to Morgantown, WV to begin dental school. Dr. Isble graduated from the WVU School of Dentistry in 2012 where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society due to her high achievement and skill while in school.

Dr. Amy, as she is known around the office, loves working with kids of all ages to keep their smile healthy. She hopes your dental experience is one that is enjoyable and hopes to instill positive lifelong habits that starts your dental journey on a road that leads to a lifetime of health and smiles. Dr. Amy enjoys spending her free time with family including her husband, Tim and son, Brayden. Dr. Amy hopes to see you at the office soon for a great checkup and visit.

Dr. Brennan Bish

Dr. Bish received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he began working as a board-certified general dentist at both the Teays Valley and Huntington Pediatric Dentistry locations. Dr. Bish is a member of the West Virginia Academy of General Dentistry and enjoys seeing patients of all ages to complete any preventative and restorative needs.
